I Flew for the Führer by Tinus le Roux

This documentary movie is a masterpiece based upon a very young Luftwaffe fighter pilot’s diary, Heinz Knoke,  and his WWII exploits on the Western Front defending Germany against massed USAAF bomber attacks.  It attains a level of realism unprecedented in IL2 movie-making through the employment of superb green screening techniques and live actors.
